A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY
One of the first “open brethren” assemblies

In the 1920s, the group broke up
and the conservative side
formed what is known today
as Grace Gospel Hall.

the congregation moved to
the Park Extension neighborhood of Montreal
and became known as
the Park Extension Gospel Hall.
IT HAS BEEN keen to evangelize
the surrounding French-speaking community
despite the significant opposition encounterED.
Several workers among French Canadians
are associated with this assembly.

In the 1950's,
the congregation became the largest in Montreal
and meT on Ogilvy Avenue.

in 1975's, the assembly was incorporated
in the province of quebec
under the name “grace gospel hall”.

in 1979, After the expropriation of this building
by the city of Montreal,
the assembly found a new home
in the auditorium of
the Mount Royal Baptist Church.

this time on henri-bourassa bld,
in ville saint-laurent,
